
There are certainly plenty of negative stereotypes about the French: they drink too much wine, they smoke too much, they wear those stupid hats. Fortunately, those same stigmas don’t apply to their French-Canadian brethren—they look great in flannel, put gravy on everything, and gave us Cœur de pirate, who’ll be at the Paradise Rock Club Thursday. This Montreal-born songstress has been playing piano since the age of ripe age of three, released two albums, and had a top five song in France all in her short 23 years.
